It happens all the time; you can spend years trying to get lean, to get the body you THINK you want. And then still pick out every little thing that you don’t like - love handles, abs that don’t look like the ones you see on social media, freckles, anything.
Do you realize how much your body does? It functions daily so you can live. It moves so you can enjoy your hobbies.
It’s time to start focusing on the good things. Find the things that you LOVE about your body and determine how to treat it right.
Here is your task: Find 1 nice thing every day to say about yourself.
Look in the mirror and say it out loud to yourself. You think you sound silly or cheesy, but it will get easier. Eventually you will be able to say 2 nice things, and then 3...
There will probably always be things you wish were better; but this exercise will help you see more good than bad. And because you can recognize all of the good things about your body, you will treat it better too.
And the better you treat your body, the more great things there will be. And so the cycle continues!
